Blackville Seniors Enjoy Free Village Supper

The Father AA McKinnon Memorial Hall in Blackville was a full house on Tuesday night at the annual Village of Blackville Seniors Supper.

Over 100 seniors attended the meal, which featured a full turkey dinner with all the fixings and an assortment of pies for dessert. The ladies of Saint Raphael’s CWL prepared the meal, along with parishioners of the church. Susan Butler, accompanied by pianist Barb Somers, provided entertainment for the evening.

Several takeout meals were also provided for seniors unable to attend.

Door prizes were awarded by random draw to Carol Underhill, Lois Grady, Louise Burns, Amy Jardine, Keith Walls and Allen Keenan.
