Blackville School Bids Adieu to Retiring Principal Hal Muck

In a ceremony held today, Blackville School had a very special guest return for an official goodbye.  Mr. Hal Muck entered the school gymnasium to a warm welcome and well-deserved standing ovation from the over 500 students that he has deeply touched over his 27 years of service as principal of Blackville School.  It was a touching assembly, with all students from Kindergarten through to Grade 12 showing their appreciation with gifts, poetry, songs and speeches.  There was not a dry eye in the house, as he stood up to say his thank yous to his staff, students and life long friends.  He tickles the ivories one last time and with the students and staff, the Blackville School song was proudly sung in his honor.
