CBC Host Terry Seguin speaks to Blackville School Journalism Class
The CBC Radio One host for Information Morning Fredericton took time out of his schedule to visit Blackville School today. Terry Seguin spoke to the Journalism 120 class. The students had quite a few questions for the CBC journalist who spoke to them about a wide range of topics from journalism ethics to the interviewing process.
His mix of humour and honesty clearly illustrates why he has had such a successful career in journalism. He sparked a lot of interest among the students about considering a career in journalism, and many of the students stayed after his presentation to ask him more questions.
Special thanks to grade 11 student Natalie Sturgeon who contacted Mr. Seguin on Twitter to see if he would be interested in visiting Blackville School. We hope we can make it an annual event. Mr Seguin said he would return, so we will take him up on that offer!
